Real Madrid Ready To Listen To Big Money Offers For World Player Of The Year Cristiano Ronaldo

The 30-year-old’s form has dropped this year…

Since his third Ballon d’Or triumph in January and birthday milestone in reaching 30-years-old, Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered an unforeseen dip in form and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has opened his eyes to the reality of selling the club’s legend.

The turn of the year has seen Ronaldo sent off for a violent outburst against Cordoba, and put it in a shocking performance at arch-rivals Atletico Madrid – as well as missing from one-yard in the victory over Deportivo de La Coruña on Saturday.

Real Madrid Star Cristiano Ronaldo’s Party Described As ‘Gift From God’

El Confidencial report that Perez is leaning towards the idea that the Portuguese star’s best days could be coming to an incredible end, and is looking at the advantages of selling the club’s biggest asset.

What is a significant point for the Real president is that the 30-year-old would be the first galactico that the Spanish giants could sell at a profitable price – and with the huge amounts of money circulating in the transfer market, it isn’t beyond belief that the £80m originally spent wouldn’t be improved upon for one of footballs’ biggest names.

Perez is uninterested in prolonging the careers of “galactico dinosaurs” at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium – making the selling of Ronaldo not beyond the realms of possibility – as it wasn’t with club legends Ronaldo, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane.

What’s more, if such speculation is substantiated, the money would go towards acquiring the signature of the club’s main transfer target – Manchester United stopper David de Gea.
