Arsenal Predicted XI vs Crystal Palace: Walcott, Ospina Return As Welbeck Drops To The Bench

How CaughtOffside think Arsenal will line up at Selhurst Park…

Arsenal will travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday, a match which could see them leapfrog a number of their top four rivals if the right results go their way.

Arsenal news

The Gunners will know this weekend could have serious repercussions on the Champions League places with Liverpool and Southampton doing battle, Man United facing a potentially difficult trip to Swansea and Spurs facing bogey team West Ham.

Three points is surely a must, and the seriousness with which Wenger sees the threat to his side’s customary top four position will be reflected in his team selection. With Alan Pardew having impressed since taking the Eagles managerial job, Arsene Wenger will not want to gamble on his team selection – he’ll select a strong side and leave the football betting to the fans.

Here’s how we see Arsenal lining up:

David Ospina

GK: David Ospina

Szczesny might be in Arsene’s bad books at the minute but was given a run-out last weekend.

Ospina should return, however, with Wenger seeming adamant to both teach Szczesny a lesson for his faux-pas and continue to see Ospina improve.

RB: Calum Chambers

Whilst Bellerin will have a fitness test to see if he can feature at Selhurst Park, you’d think Chambers would be the obvious choice anyway as not to aggravate any weak muscles.

The Englishman is a more than able substitute and looks back to his early season form after a struggle for consistency over the past few months.
