Man Utd’s expected starting XI to face Swansea City at Liberty Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
Manchester United will be looking to avenge the shock defeat inflicted upon them by Swansea City on the opening day of the season, but they are likely to be without Robin Van Persie and Phil Jones for the trip to south Wales.
Manchester United transfer rumours
With the Red Devils having lost the reverse fixture between the teams, Premier League betting on this game is sure to be tense. Still, this is how we expect the Man Utd team to look for Saturday’s clash:
GK- David de Gea
The Spanish goalkeeper continues to keep Victor Valdes out of contention for the number one spot at Old Trafford, and is likely to be the first name on Van Gaal’s teamsheet.
RB- Antonio Valencia
Valencia has slotted into a more conventional full-back position with ease it would seem, and should return to the starting line up after missing out in the last league game against Burnley.
CB- Chris Smalling
The centre-back was required to come on after just five minutes against Burnley, but he certainly made an impact as before half-time, he had already bagged two. He was rewarded with a start in the midweek FA Cup, and is expected to retain his place here.
CB- Marcos Rojo
The £16m man has admitted that he needs to improve his game, but Louis Van Gaal is likely to keep faith with the Argentinian defender.
