This will be the second game in Group 1 for Colo Colo after they beat Atletico Mineiro 2-0 last week. Star striker Paredes suffered an injury in that game which forced him to miss Sunday’s league game against Palestine in the Clausura, though he had hoped to be fit to face the Colombians.

Santa Fe won their opening Group 1 game 1-0 after a late winner against Mexican side Atlas, meaning even at this early stage the outcome could go a long way to determining who tops the group.

There is some good news for Colo Colo, who will have Argentine defender Julio Barroso available after he passed a fitness test on Tuesday morning.

The game will take place on Thursday February 26 at 22:30 (local time) at the Estadio Nemesio Camacho in Bogota.
