Juninho

A small Brazilian who was adored by Middlesbrough fans and became a legend not only in the north east, but all over the country. Signed in 1995 by Bryan Robson, he helped guide Boro to League and FA Cup finals, before relegation in 1997. Resigned after a loan spell in 2002, he declared winning the 2004 League Cup meant more to him than the 2002 World Cup.
David Luiz

A cross between a holding midfielder and central defender, David Luiz’s crazy style of play was welcomed in the Premier League. Still remembered fondly by Chelsea fans for his frizzy hair and rocket shot following his £50 million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Ramires

Creative midfielder with a final ball to rival anyone in the game with an engine that seemingly never stops. Has been at Chelsea since 2010 scoring 14 goals in 139 league appearances winning the Champons League, Europa League and FA Cup.
Gilberto Silva

Gilberto Silva spent six years at Arsenal and firmly cemented himself as a legend in Gunners folklore, being a member of the famous invincibles side who went an entire season unbeaten whilst winning the Premier League title. Silva also won the FA Cup twice and was a Champions League runner up in 2006, the club’s best outing in the competition to date.
Philippe Coutinho

An absolute magician who was bought for a bargain £8 million from Inter Milan in 2013. Coutinho has lit up the Premier League this season with a series of impressive performances and world class goals. At the tender age of 22, Liverpool have an incredible talent on their hands.
Elano

Elano was bought for £8 million from Shakhtar Donetsk, back when the club was bankrolled by Thaksin Shiniwatra and only left the club due to the influx of world class talent following Sheikh Mansour’s billions. The Brazilian was well known for scoring absolute screamers and will be remembered at the Etihad for all the right reasons.
Alex

Originally played second fiddle to Ricardo Carvalho, though eventually made 134 appearances for the Blues. The Tank won two FA Cups and a Premier League title with seven Premier League goals to his name, many of which were crackers.
Lucas Leiva

While Coutinho plays behind the strikers, Lucas is the firefighter playing just in front of the defenders. Not at all traditionally Brazilian in terms of playing style but has been a lynch-pin for Liverpool.
Oscar

Oscar has developed into one of the best players at Stamford Bridge, who scores and creates goals. At the young age of 23, the best is scarily yet to come for the Brazilian.
Fernandinho

When he plays for Manchester City he gives them solidity which allows them to attack at will and is the true definition of a box to box midfielder. Signed for £34 million and has already started paying that back after only a year, in which he won the Premier League title.
