In what could be a world-record £100m deal, Luis Suarez has today been linked with a stunning summer switch to Manchester City after only just scoring twice against them for Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek. The Uruguayan would no doubt be an excellent purchase upfront to partner Sergio Aguero.
Valued at around £60m, Paul Pogba has also been linked with City in another big-money move, though the Juventus midfielder is one of the most sought after young talents in the world and also attracting interest from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Another Barcelona player on City’s radar, it is claimed that Alex Song is keen on moving to the Etihad Stadium when his loan spell with West Ham United finishes, in what could be another smart purchase in midfield.
