The result at the former World Cup stadium in Belo Horizonte leaves both teams with two points. The Bolivians Universitario de Sucre move into first place with four points after their 1-0 victory over Venezuelans Mineros de Guayana.

It means the Brazilian champions have now gone two games without scoring a goal in this season’s tournament after they also drew 0-0 in their opening game – an away trip to Universitario.

The next round of games sees Huracan visit group leaders Universitario de Sucre on 10th March, and Cruzeiro play at home against Mineros on 19th March.
