Chelsea have appealed for an end to the sexist abuse of club doctor Eva Carneiro…

The Premier League giants have employed the popular Carneiro for many years, but according to the Daily Mirror, recent footage shows fans making such sexist pleas as: “Get your t**s out for the lads.” One fan also yelled: “Show us where you p**s from, you s**g, show us your m***e.”

With football still battling against racism, homophobia, and many other forms of prejudice, the last thing it needs is fans who could not have been less appropriate if they were yelling down from the top of scaffolding, or sidling into a woman in a bar having had a bit too much to drink.

Women have done a lot within the game that we love, and should be respected for it. In the list below, we could down ten of most famous figures from the last decade…

10) Eva Carneiro

The long-standing Chelsea physio has been an integral part of their success in recent years, keeping the club’s star players fit and healthy. You’d much rather have her running across the pitch to help you than any of the idiots mocking her.

9) Delia Smith

The veteran shareholder of Norwich City has well and truly proved her love for the Championship side over the years, and she’s just as committed to the Canaries as any of their most ardent fans. She’s had her moments of controversy, but deserves to be respected.
