Gunners may need a bigger trophy cabinet…
Arsenal, Everton and Stoke City will compete in the seventh edition of the Barclays Asia Trophy this summer, the Premier League has announced.
The English trio will be joined by a Singapore Select XI in the pre-season event.
Semi-finals will take place on Wednesday 15 July, with the final and a third-place play-off on Saturday 18.
All four matches will be held at Singapore’s National Stadium, which features a retractable roof.
The Barclays Asia Trophy has never before been staged in Singapore. Previous editions have been hosted by Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.
Past winners include Chelsea, Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Arsenal will be favourites to add their name to that list.
The Gunners are also favourites to retain the FA Cup, after beating Manchester United in the quarter-finals on Monday night.
