Ronaldinho Will Stay In The Liga MX, But Only To Warm Bench

Ronaldinho will now stay in the Liga MX.

According to ESPN, the Queretaro management expects the Brazilian legend to honour his contract with the club (which runs until the June 2016), despite coming under heavy criticism for his consistently poor performances.

He arrived at Queretaro last season with the fans and the media expecting big things, but he has failed to live up to the hype, with the team president Arturo Villanueva admitting that the star hasn’t delivered what was expected from him.

Although the club still hopes ‘Dinho’ will improve and can turn his time in Mexico around, Queretaro’s manager Victor Vucetich recently said that he was contemplating leaving the 34 year old on the bench for the remainder of the season.

It was previously thought that he would leave this summer to join Kabuscorp in Angola.
