Here are five teams that will be eyeing the youngster, who is one of England’s brightest talents…

Real Madrid

With Gareth Bale struggling at the Bernabeu, and the team as a whole finding it difficult in all competitions there is a chance that they will be looking for a new Galactico in the summer. It would be hard for Brendan Rodgers to beat away interest from the La Liga giants, but it may not be the best move for a player who needs to be playing regularly.

Bayern Munich

The allure of working with Pep Guardiola could be vital for any move to the Bundesliga champions. Again like Real Madrid there may not be the regular football that Sterling needs, but with Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery not getting any younger there is a chance that he could break in to the side.

Manchester United

Not a move that would be popular with the Anfield faithful, but the money on offer from the Red Devils may be too much to turn down. With their season starting to disappoint in recent weeks the Mancunian side could be looking to spend big again in the summer.

Paris St. Germain

The Ligue 1 champions are always on the lookout for new marquee signings, and the England international would certainly be that. With there being rumours this season that both Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi could depart the Parc des Princes they could well be interested in the Liverpool forward.

Chelsea

Another transfer that might turn Reds supporter against Sterling, but the Blues are one of the few teams that may be able to afford the 20-year-old. With how poorly Oscar played against PSG on Wednesday, the thought may have entered Jose Mourinho’s mind that a replacement isn’t too far away.
