Tottenham’s trio of Kyle Walker, Andros Townsend, and Harry Kane will be soon be heading off for international duty, after they were all included in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for the upcoming games against Lithuania and Italy, but first they must deal with Leicester City at White Hart Lane.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to bounce back from their embarrassing 3-0 defeat to top four rivals Manchester United. Spurs currently sit sixth in the Premier League, six points off United who currently occupy that last Champions League qualification spot.

They can get their charge back on track should they overcome the league’s bottom side Leicester City, who, despite having a game in hand over all of their rivals, find themselves seven points off safety with time running out.

Here is how we expect Tottenham to line up:

GK- Hugo Lloris

The Frenchman couldn’t really have done anything about the goals he conceded on Sunday, but that won’t stop him being disappointed at not keeping a clean sheet, something he will be looking to put right against the Foxes.

RB- Kyle Walker

Despite being one of just nine defenders selected for the England squad, he still faces a lot of competition for a starting spot, so will be keen to make an impact.

CB- Eric Dier

Like many of his teammates, the centre-back had a poor game at Old Trafford, but could be in for a tough game again this week as Leicester have plenty of skill up front.

CB- Jan Vertonghen

Alongside his central defensive partner, the Belgian will keen to forget the hammering last time out. Perhaps more than ever, following the defeat, he will need to step up and marshal his young back four.

LB- Danny Rose

Will be disappointed not to be included in the national squad, especially as Luke Shaw has been selected ahead of him, so will be keen to show what Roy Hodgson has missed out on.

CM- Ryan Mason

Had a slim chance of a first call-up, but if he can keep impressing for Spurs, he will surely be more thoughtfully considered next time around.

CM- Nabil Bentaleb

The 20-year-old has been forming a really good partnership with Mason in midfield. But the test will come from how they bounce back from last week’s showing.

RW- Andros Townsend

Probably the most criticised selection in Hodgson’s squad, the winger was embarrassingly substituted inside the first half at Old Trafford, so will be looking to prove his doubters wrong firstly against Leicester, and then in the international fixtures.

AM- Christian Eriksen

Eriksen has pulled most of the strings this season, and there is an argument to say that Harry Kane would not be having the run he’s had, had it not been for the Dane.

LW- Nacir Chadli

The Belgian will be looking to give Leicester’s slightly suspect looking defence a torrid time, to make up for a very weak performance against Man United.

ST- Harry Kane

It will be interesting to see whether getting the recognition he deserves for his performances this season, have any impact on his form from this point onwards.
