An improved display from Arsenal youngster Calum Chambers as they battled to a 2-1 win at Newcastle United.

DL: Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur)

Another fine performance from a player unlucky not to get an England call-up.

DC: Phil Jones (Manchester United)

A solid display at the back from Manchester United defender Phil Jones to keep out Liverpool’s in-form attack.

DC: Wes Morgan (Leicester City)

Despite a 4-3 defeat, Wes Morgan shone for Leicester and grabbed himself a goal at White Hart Lane.

MC: Fernando (Manchester City)

One of his best performances this season, Fernando put in a commanding display and grabbed a goal as City beat West Brom.

MC: Ander Herrera (Manchester United)

A fine midfield display, Ander Herrera controlled the tempo for United against Liverpool, and got a superb assist for the first goal.


MR: Juan Mata (Manchester United)

Two superb goals in a crucial game, Juan Mata was sublime for Manchester United and probably the player of the whole weekend.

ML: David Silva (Manchester City)

Another Spaniard in fine form, David Silva looked back to his best with a goal against West Brom.

FC: Olivier Giroud (Arsenal)

The Arsenal man just can’t stop scoring, and his two goals at Newcastle brought yet another league win for the Gunners.

FC: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

The player of 2015 so far without a doubt, Tottenham star Harry Kane was at it again this weekend as he hit a hat-trick against Leicester.
