Here are the best ones:

Steven Gerrard sent off 38 seconds after coming on as a substitute

One of the weekend’s biggest talking points came at Anfield as Liverpool captain came on for his side as a half-time substitute with them losing 1-0 to Manchester United. Gerrard then proceeded to stamp on Ander Herrera and was incredibly given his marching orders after just 38 seconds. What was he thinking?
Brilliant Suarez clinches El Clasico

Luis Suarez has been the Barcelona success story of the past few months, then that should be no surprise to any English football fans after he dominated the Premier League with Liverpool. His goal in El Clasico at the Nou Camp won the game for his side, putting them four points clear at the top of La Liga.
West Brom’s McAuley sent off in mistaken identity

Another red card, this time for the wrong person. West Brom’s Gareth McAuley was amazingly sent off for a foul on Wilfried Bony committed by Craig Dawson in their match against Manchester City. Echoes of Wes Brown’s red card at Old Trafford this season and Kieran Gibbs’ in Arsenal’s 6-0 defeat against Chelsea. Do referees need video technology?
Chelsea show steel needed from title winners to grind out win

Chelsea look set to lift the Premier League trophy again this season after they ground out a 3-2 victory against Hull City at the KC Stadium, going six points clear of Manchester City, their nearest rivals, with a game in hand. The Blues have occasionally been accused of not being able to grind results out, for example Southampton last week, so Jose Mourinho and fans alike will be delighted with this slightly fortuitous win.

Never one to be a gracious winner  or loser, Mario Balotelli showed Manchester United fans what he thought of their criticism of him after Liverpool’s 2-1 loss to their rivals at Anfield.
