Mario Balotelli

The Reds paid £16m for Balotelli in August, but he has flattered to deceive for almost the entire season, scoring just four goals for the Anfield club. Divock Origi will arrive in the summer after a loan spell with Lille and, going on Balotelli’s performances, the Belgium international will justifiably force the former Manchester City frontman out of Anfield.
Rickie Lambert

The former Football League journeyman striker surprised everyone when he signed for Liverpool from Southampton and has found first team opportunities hard to come by since his side’s upturn in fortunes. Lambert rejected a move to Aston Villa on January transfer deadline day and could live to regret that when he is allowed to leave in summer. Liverpool probably regret signing him to start with.
Fabio Borini

Liverpool accepted a £14m bid from Sunderland for the former Roma and Swansea man after he impressed during his season-long loan spell with the Black Cats. The striker opted to stay at Liverpool and fight for his place though, but he has since started just three Premier League games this season. With the Reds reportedly keen on Falcao next season, Borini is unlikely to get a look in. Liverpool would be right to sell.
Steven Gerrard

Captain and legend Steven Gerrard is Mr. Liverpool. That said, he has already announced he will be leaving his beloved club in the summer in favour of a move to LA Galaxy and the MLS, joining Frank Lampard, David Villa and Kaka in the USA. The midfielder will be sorely missed at Anfield, but, at the age of 34, he has probably chosen the right time to bow out. Saying that, Liverpool could easily have squeezed another good 12 months out of him.
Glen Johnson

The right-back has started only 10 league games this season and will likely leave on a free transfer this summer after his contract expires. The former Chelsea and Portsmouth man has already spoken about his desire to leave and get his career back on track, touting a move abroad as a possibility. He is nowhere near the player he once was and he is massively overpaid. The sooner he leaves the better.
