The Reds look keen to add new players upfront this summer after a difficult campaign that could see them miss out on the top four following last year’s departure of star player Luis Suarez to Barcelona.

The Daily Star has already linked Juventus forward Fernando Llorente as another potential target for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, though neither of these players look particularly impressive based on recent stats.

Llorente only has four Serie A goals this season, and Immobile has struggled in the Bundesliga, also only scoring four times in the league to spark rumours that Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp could already be prepared to let him go.

The Italian was signed from Torino last summer but now looks likely to make a quick exit from the club if talkSPORT’s report is anything to go by, with Liverpool and AC Milan leading the chase for the £13m-rated attacker.
