Ten strikers every Premier League club will be after this summer, with Man United outcast, Edinson Cavani and former Chelsea star

Liverpool have become the latest club to be linked with a move for Manchester United outcast Javier Hernandez. With the Metro also suggesting interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, it seems that teams are practically queuing up for the Mexican’s signature.

Of course, he’s not the only centre forward that’s set to be available this summer. But as we all know, world class attacking players are like gold-dust come the transfer window, so Premier League teams are going to have to be fighting hard to get their top targets.

Here’s ten popular players we think could be on the move in the next couple of months…

10) Javier Hernandez (Manchester United / Real Madrid)

Wasted on the bench at Old Trafford or the Bernabeu and more than capable of doing a job for a lesser Premier League side. His goal record at United suggests that he could be a useful addition should someone convince him to move on the cheap.

9) Stevan Jovetic (Manchester City)

Missed out on City’s Champions League squad following the January arrival of Wilfried Bony and that would suggest that he can’t have long left at the Etihad Stadium. Still a quality player when fit and firing and deserves the chance to show what he can do elsewhere.

8) Emmanuel Adebayor (Tottenham Hotspur)

The Togolese international has a wonderful CV, with spells at Arsenal, Real Madrid and more, but he can’t get a game at White Hart Lane this season. If you can deal with the ego and get the best out of him, he’s still capable of making a mark on the top flight.

7) Radamel Falcao (AS Monaco / Manchester United)

The Colombian was one of the most feared marksmen in European football at the start of this season. Unfortunately, his spell at Old Trafford has been littered with poor form and a lack of fitness. Despite his failings, you have to think he could still succeed elsewhere.

6) Andre-Pierre Gignac (Marseille)

The scorer of 18 goals in all competitions so far this season. The experienced Frenchman might not appeal to some of the big boys but has the potential to be a star at a mid-table team. West Brom have already shown an interest and what a signing he’d be for them!

5) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint Germain)

The veteran Swede has already been linked with a move to Liverpool. If he does leave Paris this summer, perhaps the Premier League isn’t the most likely of destinations for him, but wouldn’t it be a treat for all us neutrals to see him finishing his career in England!

4) Demba Ba (Besiktas)

Impressed for West Ham, Newcastle United and Chelsea during his time in the Premier League, before raising eyebrows with his switch to Besiktas last summer. He’s proved much too good for the Turkish league, scoring 24 goals and proving he could be worth a return.

3) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

Europe’s hottest property so far this season. The 23-year-old has scored 28 goals in 34 games so far this season to attract interest from a whole host of European giants. However, Lyon seem desperate to cling on to their prize asset and will drive a hard bargain if they let him go.

2) Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli)

The Argentine appears to be happy in Italy but with Napoli struggling to challenge for honours either at home or in Europe, he could be on the lookout for a move. All the Premier League big boys would no doubt be more than happy to take him as well.

1) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint Germain)

The Uruguayan has been regularly linked with moves away from the French capital, where he’s reportedly frustrated. The latest suggestions are that it would cost up to £60m to pry him away from Laurent Blanc’s side, with Manchester United believed to be the frontrunners.
