In Bayern Munich’s DFB-Pokal trophy match with Bayer Leverkusen, midfielder Thiago did this horrible flying kick on Stefan Kiessling. The German striker had to be substituted afterwards, and the former Barcelona man only got a yellow despite the vociferous home crowd shouting for a red.

To rub salt in to the wound the 23-year-old went on to score the final spot kick as Munich won 5-3 in a penalty shootout in his first appearance back after a long term injury. Leverkusen fans will be incensed by the unfairness of this.
