Park Ji-sung – after a season on loan at PSV from QPR last season, Park Ji-sung is now retired from playing and working as a club ambassador with United.
Ryan Giggs – only recently retired, Ryan Giggs is now assistant manager to Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
Darren Fletcher – a lot of these players seem to be ending up at West Brom, with two-goal hero Darren Fletcher moving to the Hawthorns in January.
Anderson – a key player for United in those days, Brazilian flop Anderson never really fulfilled his potential and recently left the club for Internacional.
Gareth Barry – a scorer for City that day, Gareth Barry had a good career with the club and is still going strong for Everton.
Nigel de Jong – a member of City’s title-winning squad in 2012, Nigel de Jong was then allowed to join current club AC Milan.
Stephen Ireland – bizarrely still a regular for City at this point, Stephen Ireland only had one good season with the club and is now with Stoke.
