Twitter reacts to Cesc Fabregas scoring Chelsea goal that could cost former club Arsenal Premier League title shot

The Belgian assisted Cesc Fabregas for the winning goal against QPR on Sunday. That strike could well end up helping them to win the league, as the Blues are currently seven points clear in first place with a game in hand. This is just the latest in a string of great performances, with the 24-year-old having scored 12 goals and created another seven for the Stamford Bridge outfit this season.

He said: “I think what he’s doing, speaking in a very honest way, it shouldn’t even be a debate. If somebody throws other names on the table, it’s because he wants to sell papers, wants to throw some sand into people’s eyes, because [Hazard] is by far the best player in the Premier League all season.”

Chelsea have two massive games coming up in the Premier League against Manchester United and Arsenal. Hazard will need to be at his best if Jose Mourinho is to take maximum points from the fixtures. If they do manage to get six points then the title race may well be over.
