Five Premier League loanees with no future at their clubs next season: Including Arsenal and Man United stars

With the end of season in sight, many Premier League players, who are out on loan, will be thinking whether or not they have a future at their parent clubs.

Some will have used their loan spells in order to gain some valuable game time and experience, whilst others will have failed to impress altogether.

Take a look at five players who have no future at their parent club upon the expiration of the loan:

5) Micah Richards (Manchester City, on loan at Fiorentina)

Almost a forgotten man at the Etihad, his contract expires at the end of the season and it is hard to see Manchester City offering him an extension.

4) Javier Hernandez (Manchester United, on loan at Real Madrid)

The signing of Falcao would have resulted in limited game time for Hernandez so he joined the La Liga giants – where his situation has changed too much.

Difficult to see where he fits in, should United add another striker in the summer.

3) Carl Jenkinson (Arsenal, on loan at West Ham)

With Hector Bellerin’s fanatastic rise to prominence this season, it would appear Jenkinson would have his work cut out to force his way into the Arsenal team at right-back.

Coupled with Mathieu Debuchy’s return to fitness and the option to play Calum Chambers in that position, it appears very unlikely that the Hammers loanee has a future at the Emirates Stadium.

2) Nani (Manchester United, on loan at Sporting Lisbon)

With the wide berths at Old Trafford well covered at the moment, hard to see a way back for the Portuguese international next season.

1) Lukas Podolski (Arsenal, on loan at Inter Milan)

With Arsenal in great form and well stocked in attacking positions, it would be a huge surprise if the German is at the Emirates next season.

Is still awaiting his first goal since making the temporary switch to Serie A, has hardly shown Arsene Wenger that he should be handed another chance.
