1) Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)

Possibly set to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, Marco Reus has been linked on occasion with a move to Liverpool, and would make a far superior signing in the attacking midfield department to Chelsea’s number ten.

2) Miralem Pjanic (AS Roma)

Another target rumoured to be on Liverpool’s agenda in midfield is AS Roma playmaker Miralem Pjanic, who has had another superb season in Serie A as he shows himself to be one of the best passers of the ball in Europe, with an eye for the odd spectacular long-range goal as well.

3) Koke (Atletico Madrid)

A real gem in this impressive Atletico Madrid side, Koke has been linked with a host of top clubs, including Chelsea, and it may be wise for Liverpool to consider the Spaniard as well as they look to bring in a skillful playmaker in the Oscar mould.

4) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

Arguably, Liverpool should be focusing on strikers anyway due to the presence of players like Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling and Lazar Markovic, so should perhaps look to replace the injury-prone Daniel Sturridge with Lyon’s exciting young striker Alexandre Lacazette.

5) Jackson Martinez (Porto)

Another top class striker who could move this summer is Porto star Jackson Martinez, who has emerged as a target for Liverpool and would add plenty of goals to this Reds side.
