The 24 year old Dynamo Kiev centre-back is seemingly a much sought after talent with the likes of Tottenham and West Ham also keen on the defender.

Arsene Wenger’s interest in the defender is a little hard to fathom given the Gunners boss snapped up Brazilian Gabriel Paulista in the January transfer window, with the former Villarreal man offering strong support for first choice central defensive pair Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.

The Metro claim that Arsenal are readying a ‘sizable’ offer for Dragovic nonetheless.

Arsenal’s defence may have looked shaky in the first half of the current campaign but in recent months things have improved on that front.

During Arsenal’s run of eight straight wins the north London side have conceded just five goals and over the course of the entire season only Chelsea, Southampton and Man United have let in more Premier League goals.
