Arsenal tipped to launch full-scale attack on Chelsea by club legend

The North London rivals are interested in the centre-back after an impressive season for the Argentine side. The 19-year-old also made his national team debut against Slovakia last June, although he wasn’t chosen for the World Cup squad that made it to the final of the competition.

Mammana is also versatile, being able to fill in at right-back as well as in the middle of the back line. La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also keen on the youngster, and may find it easier to sign the teenager. This is because he could struggle to gain a work permit to play in the UK without an EU passport.

However, the Premier League sides could still sign the player and then loan him out to a European side until he gains a passport. This would be similar to what the Gunners have done with Joel Campbell.
