TuttoMercatoWeb runs with a France Football story claiming the San Siro giants have set their sights on landing the 22-year-old in a £10.7m deal when the summer transfer window opens.

It undoubtedly comes as a blow for the Gunners and Liverpool who, along with Chelsea, have been monitoring the left-back’s progress, according to the Daily Express.

Manchester City is not thought to be a likely destination for Kurzawa despite the fact he watched them in action towards the end of last year.

Kurzawa, who has three years remaining on his current contract, has been an ever-present this term, making 33 appearances in all competitions, picking up three yellow cards in the process.

If he does end up on Merseyside he would compete with Alberto Moreno for a place in Brendan Rodgers’ side, while he would have his work cut out in north London, as Arsenal already have Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal operating in his natural position on the left-hand side of defence.
