Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao live stream: Stage set for biggest fight in boxing history

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will end the debate over who the pound-for-pound king of boxing is at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight time: Viewing guide and prediction.

The pair were first touted to meet in the ring back in 2010, but they failed to reach an agreement for the next five years as various concerns were raised between the two camps.

However, all was agreed to earlier this year and the fight is now set with the pair set to go head-to-head at the weigh-in on Friday prior to stepping in the ring and going to war.

Mayweather remains the favourite given that he will be looking to move to 48-0 in his professional career, while Pacquiao has suffered crushing defeats to Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy Bradley as recently as three years ago.

Nevertheless, Saturday will provide a contrast in styles and personalities which in turn should result in an exciting fight. Pac-Man will look to use his natural aggression, speed and awkward combinations to land on Mayweather, whether the 38-year-old defensive genius will look to set traps for his rival and counter with authority.

Neither man has claimed a stoppage win in years and so many expect this to go the distance, but given the magnitude of the event, it would come as no surprise if there was a shocking end to proceedings.

It remains to be seen who prevails in what is being billed as the fight of the century, but win or lose the two fighters will finally be giving boxing fans what they have been craving for years and they will hopefully ensure that the bout lives up to expectations.
