Manchester United face West Brom on Saturday hoping to get back to winning ways after two successive defeats. While the poor form of Liverpool has let them off after dropping points, the Red Devils cannot rely on their Merseyside rivals to keep failing to take their chances.

The big news for United is that Wayne Rooney is fit to play after recovering from a knock to his knee suffered during the 3-0 loss to Everton. However, this is tempered by the fact that Michael Carrick is still injured, while Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans have picked up new problems. This could mean that Phil Jones has to play in midfield while Daley Blind moves to left-back.

The Baggies will be welcoming Youssouf Mulumbu back from his suspension, and Andre Wisdom is available again after being ineligible against parent club Liverpool. Tony Pulis will be hoping that his team can replicate their performance at Old Trafford last season, where they managed their first win at the ground for 21 games. 1959 is the last time the Midlands side had successive wins away against Man Utd.
