GK: Hugo Lloris (Tottenham)

Just in ahead of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, Hugo Lloris has been superb for Spurs again this season and is arguably the more talented shot-stopper overall.

DR: Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City)

A superb right-back, Pablo Zabaleta has had another strong season for City despite their struggles to keep up with Chelsea in the title race.

DL: Danny Rose (Tottenham)

A young left-back improving all the time, Danny Rose’s form has been a real boost for Tottenham this season and he is surely knocking on the door for England.

DC: Martin Demichelis (Manchester City)

Probably City’s best defender, Martin Demichelis has outshone team-mates Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala, both of whom have been hugely disappointing.

DC: Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham)

A superb defender for Tottenham, Jan Vertonghen certainly deserves his place in this combined XI after another accompished season at White Hart Lane.

MC: Yaya Toure (Manchester City)

Not at his best this year, but still one of the best midfielders in the world on his day and capable of moments of brilliance.

MC: Ryan Mason (Tottenham)

A young player who has made huge strides for Spurs in 2014/15, Ryan Mason has been a great discovery for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

MR: David Silva (Manchester City)

Still a class act, David Silva has maintained his fine form for Manchester City this season despite a poor campaign from the club overall.

ML: Christian Eriksen (Tottenham)

A big-game player who has stepped up this term, Christian Eriksen has been a joy to watch for Tottenham and could certainly play for most big sides around Europe.

FC: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

A lethal goalscorer who tops the Premier League scoring charts, it’s been another superb season for City hot-shot Sergio Aguero.

FC: Harry Kane (Tottenham)

A rising star who has had a terrific breakthrough season, Harry Kane certainly makes it into this combined lineup after scoring an incredible 30 goals for Spurs.
