Bayern Munich official discusses possible move for Chelsea ace Eden Hazard

With the campaign nearly over we can now try to see who has managed to score the most. Obviously some players have had more opportunities to rack up the spot kicks, but even so it is a relatively good test of who is the best from 12 yards.

Here are the top five…

=3) Eden Hazard, Chelsea, 3

Although Julian Speroni managed to save from the 24-year-old on Sunday before the rebound was put away, the Belgian has still netted on three other occasions. The manner in which Hazard waits for the keeper to dive makes his penalties very difficult to stop.

=3) Saido Berahino, West Brom, 3

One of the current crop of young English strikers lighting up the Premier League, the 21-year-old has been boosting his goalscoring figures from the spot.

=2) Sergio Aguero, Manchester City, 4

Although he has been injured for large parts of the season the Argentine is still the highest scorer in the top flight, and isn’t doing too badly here either. If the forward could stay fit what could he achieve?

=2) Steven Gerrard, Liverpool, 4

His final season in the division, and the Anfield legend is still one of the best from set pieces around. A testament to his longevity more than anything.

1) Santi Cazorla, Arsenal, 6

The diminutive Spaniard makes it look easy from the spot. It would be a shame were the Gunners to lose him in the summer as has been rumoured during the campaign by the Metro.
