Chelsea keeper Petr Cech 99% confident over Arsenal transfer

Chelsea stopper Petr Cech is reportedly 99% certain that he’ll be making a move across London to Arsenal at the end of the season.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho will allow the Stamford Bridge legend to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window; knowing that the keeper deserves far better than to be warming the substitutes bench.

Latest reports from the Daily Star claim that Cech is 99% sure that a transfer to Arsenal will go through – with the final 1% down to whether Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and manager Mourinho will allow the experienced goalkeeper to make the switch to their English rivals.

The Czech Republic international had allegedly been in talks with Turkish side Besiktas, however with his family settled in London, a move to the Emirates would be the simpler option.

The West London outfit value the 32-year-old at £10m – and Arsene Wenger is happy to meet this figure, as he searches for a new no.1 to replace unconvincing duo David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny.

Liverpool, Manchester United, Inter Milan and AS Roma have also been linked [via the Metro] to his name.
