Belgian newspaper HLN have confirmed that the Standard Liege stopper has agreed on a switch to Old Trafford, and will head into training with the Red Devils’ under-18 team in the summer.

The teenager had been scouted by Premier League champions Chelsea, and had attracted the interest of Anderlecht and Newcastle United, but Louis van Gaal has triumphed – adding another Belgium starlet into the club academy.

The Dutchman had been watching the youngster throughout this season – with International Business Times reporting that United scouts were recently in attendance at the Motagiu tournament in France where he was playing, which seemed to have made van Gaal’s mind up on finalising a deal.

He has featured for his country at under-15 and under-16 level.

Sebtaoui adds to a growing number of Belgium youngsters joining the club; as Manchester United signed Limburg brothers Indy and Seppe Boonen earlier this year, as well as already having Belgian youngsters Andreas Pereira and Adnan Januzaj in their ranks.
