10) Sylvain Wiltord

A divisive player during his time with Arsenal, Sylvain Wiltord was clearly not world class, but still did the business and scored the all-important title-deciding goal for the Gunners against Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2002.

9) Eduardo

A player unfortunate to suffer a horrendous injury against Birmingham City, Eduardo looked a great poacher and one who could’ve achieved far more with the club.

8) Nwankwo Kanu

A talented target man with great flair and skill, Nwankwo Kanu was not the most consistent performer but still a top talent and big player for Wenger’s early sides.

7) Nicolas Anelka

Signed by Arsenal as an exciting youngster, Nicolas Anelka may not have stayed for very long at Highbury, but he made an instant impact with some exciting displays.

6) Emmanuel Adebayor

Another player who divides opinion, Emmanuel Adebayor had one outstanding season for Arsenal but was mostly frustrating in front of goal and often appeared lazy.

5) Olivier Giroud

A fine player who perhaps isn’t quite good enough for a club of this size, Olivier Giroud has done well for Arsenal this season and would do fine as a squad player.

4) Robin van Persie

Plagued by injuries for so much of his Arsenal career, Robin van Persie was still a world class performer at his best, and has since gone on to shine for rivals Manchester United in a controversial transfer.

3) Ian Wright

One of the best strikers in Arsenal’s history, Ian Wright is an underrated great of the English game, even if he was slightly past his best when Wenger arrived in north London.

2) Dennis Bergkamp

Not an out-and-out striker as such, but Dennis Bergkamp is a real Arsenal legend and was one of their best players for much of his decade with the club.

1) Thierry Henry

Undoubtedly Arsenal’s best player of all time, Thierry Henry is one of the greatest strikers of the modern era and scored an incredible 228 goals for the Gunners.
