If they pull these deals off, their starting XI for next season would take some beating…

GK: Hugo Lloris

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is one of the names on PSG’s list and he would no doubt make a great new signing to be number one for Laurent Blanc’s side.

DR: Dani Alves

Available on a free after deciding to leave Barcelona, Dani Alves is being widely tipped to sign for the Ligue 1 champions ahead of the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

DL: Maxwell

A fine left-back, Brazilian ace Maxwell seems likely to continue as first choice for PSG in the 2015/16 season.

DC: Thiago Silva

One of the best centre-backs in the world, there’s little need to invest in this position with Marquinhos also available as a backup.

DC: David Luiz

A questionable player, but David Luiz seems set to remain first choice alongside Silva in central defence for PSG next season.

MC: Blaise Matuidi

A superb defensive midfielder, Blaise Matuidi should continue to be an important part of the PSG team in 2015/16.

MC: Marco Verratti

A player growing in stature all the time, Italian starlet Marco Verratti has shown himself to be a pivotal part of how PSG play with some superb midfield displays.

MC: Paul Pogba

A top target for PSG from Juventus, Paul Pogba could be another absolutely superb signing for the French giants next season, though the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the 22-year-old.

FR: Cristiano Ronaldo

Arguably the best player in the world, or at least second-best, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is also being targeted by PSG in a stunning £88m move, making him the most expensive player in the world…again.

FL: Angel Di Maria

Wanted on loan from Manchester United, Angel Di Maria was also a target for PSG last summer before he instead made the move to Old Trafford, where he has struggled to settle.

FC: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

A world class centre-forward, Zlatan Ibrahimovic still has it in him to lead the line for PSG in their quest to go further in the Champions League next year.
