Manchester United are being hailed as the favourites to seal the signing of highly-rated Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca in a £21.3m deal in this summer’s transfer window.

The free-scoring Colombian international has had another outstanding campaign for the La Liga side, scoring 28 goals in all competitions, including seven in the Europa League to help his club to victory in the competition.
Bacca’s superb form has now seen him become a top transfer target for several bigger clubs, with United keen to sign the talented attacker to replace some of their own misfiring forwards.
Radamel Falcao has already returned to AS Monaco after a highly disappointing season on loan at Old Trafford, while Robin van Persie has also struggled to meet expectations and may be heading for the exit door.
According to the Metro, this will see United sign Bacca for around £21.3m, following on from their purchase of PSV forward Memphis Depay earlier this summer.
