The Red Devils have already sent Radamel Falcao back to AS Monaco after a hugely disappointing season on loan at Old Trafford, and it now looks as though Robin van Persie’s place in the side will be under threat with the arrival of these two big names.

1) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
According to the Manchester Evening News, a £40m deal could be on for United to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer, with the Frenchman having already held talks over a possible move to Old Trafford as his place in the starting lineup at the Bernabeu looks under some doubt for next season.
2) Nicolas Gaitan (Benfica)
For a further £21.8m, United could also be about to announce the purchase of Benfica attacking midfielder Nicolas Gaitan, according to the Metro. The Argentine winger has been superb in Portugal and was also on Liverpool’s radar this summer, though it seems a move to Old Trafford is edging closer to completion.
