1) Liverpool

A club already considering their options to replace Brendan Rodgers, it would seem, Liverpool could do brilliantly to pounce for Enrique if he becomes available, with neither Carlo Ancelotti nor Jurgen Klopp looking like realistic options for the Reds at this moment in time.

2) Arsenal

Despite another FA Cup win, there are suggestions that Arsenal could consider replacing Arsene Wenger this summer after a long career with the club. The Gunners boss has done well to turn things around at the Emirates Stadium after a long spell without any silverware, but Enrique would arguably be an upgrade for the club in terms of chasing the big trophies like the Premier League and Champions League.

3) Manchester City

It’s been a poor season for Manuel Pellegrini, whose Manchester City side put in a fairly limp defence of the Premier League title and who made some questionable signings in the transfer market. The Chilean’s job seems relatively safe for now, but if Enrique did leave Barca one has to wonder if City would be wise to pounce.

4) Paris Saint-Germain

He may have just won a second league title in a row, but Laurent Blanc hasn’t won over everybody at Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman has struggled in the Champions League in particular and could make way if a better option becomes available.

5) Bayern Munich

Although he will probably stay one more year, there are question marks over Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich, with Premier League clubs desperate to land the Spanish tactician. If Pep does move on, and Enrique also becomes available, could he follow in the former Barcelona manager’s footsteps and try his next challenge at the Allianz Arena?
