Aaron Ramsey has named a selection of players to make up his version of the ultimate footballer and there is surprisingly no input from Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Welshman was asked to by Goal to pick players based on the vital components that make a footballer and his selections proved to be very interesting.
The highlights were that he plumped for the brain of the legendary Zinedine Zidane, plus the vision and heart of Arsenal team-mates Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin respectively.
There was the expected inclusion for the left-foot of Barcelona star Lionel Messi and there was also a place for Ramsey’s international team-mate Gareth Bale, who is selected for his pace.
Another Welshman, Swansea City skipper Ashley Williams, has been included for his leadership skills.
New Liverpool signing James Milner makes an appearance in the bionic footballer created by Ramsey as the England international’s work-rate has been greatly appreciated.
The quality of the make-up of this team would surely be a contender for the FIFA Ballon d’Or award each year to rival the extraordinary feats of Messi and Ronaldo.
