Liverpool are reportedly looking at signing four big-name players from their closest Premier League rivals in this summer’s transfer window, including controversial raids on Manchester United and Arsenal.

If rumours are to be believed, this quartet could be heading to Anfield this summer if manager Brendan Rodgers gets his way and continues his big spending of the transfer window so far…

1) Javier Hernandez (Manchester United)

It is very rare indeed for players to move between these two clubs, but rumours suggest Liverpool are set to break tradition here and make a controversial move to sign out-of-favour Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez this summer, with the Mexican international looking an ideal buy in attack and one who doesn’t have a future at Old Trafford.

2) Nabil Bentaleb (Tottenham)

In a surprise raid on Tottenham, Liverpool have also been linked with a move to bolster their central midfield with a bid for Spurs contract rebel Nabil Bentaleb. The Algerian youngster is a highly promising talent and could fit in well at Anfield if he joins.

3) Theo Walcott (Arsenal)

A possible replacement for Raheem Sterling, Theo Walcott’s contract situation at Arsenal has seemingly put him on Liverpool’s radar this summer, and there’s no doubt the England winger could fit in perfectly into the way Rodgers likes his side to play.

4) Edin Dzeko (Manchester City)

Another striker struggling for games with his current club, Edin Dzeko has been linked with Liverpool this summer as he seems likely to leave Manchester City. Although not a world beater, the Bosnian international is an underrated talent who could add 20-25 goals a season to this Reds side.
