Brendan Rodgers has been hard at work bringing in a host of new additions that not only greatly improve his starting eleven but also offer much needed strength in depth. Could the Anfield outfit once again challenge for the Premier League title as they did in 2013/14?

Keeper – Simon Mignolet

Belgian impressed in the second half of last term and will be Liverpool’s undisputed number one in 2015/16.

Left-Back – Alberto Moreno

Spaniard is a quality performer who will be one season wiser in terms of Premier League experience.

Centre-Back – Mamadou Sakho

We predict the strong tackling Frenchman will get the nod ahead of Dejan Lovren in the Liverpool starting eleven.

Centre-Back – Martin Skrtel

No-nonsense defender to take pride of place in the heart of the Liverpool defence.

Right-Back – Nathaniel Clyne

Southampton man is a shoe-in to become Liverpool’s sixth summer signing.

Defensive Midfield – Emre Can

German was used in a variety of roles last season but we elect to use him in a defensive midfield slot.

Attacking Midfield – Roberto Firmino

Brazilian works most productively in an advanced midfield role, behind the front-three.

Central Midfield – Jordan Henderson

England international is one of the first names on Brendan Rodgers’ team-sheet.

Winger – Philippe Coutinho

Cultured attacker will look to once again wow the Anfield faithful in 2015/16.

Striker – Daniel Sturridge

Brendan Rodgers will hope the England international can steer clear of injuries in the coming season, still a deadly finisher.

Winger – Adam Lallana

We back the former Southampton man to see a return to form in 2015/16.
