As reported by the site Record, commentator Taylor Twellman confirmed that the MLS owners are doing everything they can to sign Javier Hernandez and Giovani Dos Santos, the former Tottenham striker. According to Twellman, the MLS owners have already had contact with the two strikers and are looking to close the deal this summer.

This is not the first time Chicharito has been linked to the MLS, as he his name has been mentioned several times as a possible player for Orlando City – where Kaka now plays.

Hernandez has expressed his desire to stay in Europe and he still has a contract with Manchester United – though Van Gaal has been very clear and has said several times that the player doesn’t have a future at Old Trafford.
