Chelsea made a huge amount from player sales last summer as they offloaded unwanted squad players in David Luiz and Romelu Lukaku for a combined £78m, and Jose Mourinho looks set to work his magic again this summer.

The Blues are fine-tuning their squad after an excellent season winning the Premier League and Capital One Cup, and it looks like £53m could potentially be raised in transfer funds…

1) Loic Remy – £15m

Linked with the likes of West Ham United and Swansea City, Loic Remy looks to be on his way out of Chelsea this summer if they receive a bid in the region of £15m. For a potentially third-choice striker, that’s not bad business at all, especially as he cost only £10.5m last summer.

2) Juan Cuadrado – £18m

A disappointment since joining from Fiorentina in January, Juan Cuadrado is now being linked with an £18m move to Atletico Madrid, which seems the best solution for a transfer that just hasn’t worked out for either party.

3) Mohamed Salah – £10m

Worth around £10m, Mohamed Salah has not managed to get a look-in at Chelsea and will surely now leave after an impressive loan stint at Fiorentina. Liverpool and Tottenham have shown an interest in the Egyptian in the past, but Juventus now look the favourites to snap him up.

4) Petr Cech – £10m

A deal that has already gone through, Chelsea brought in £10m from the sale of Petr Cech to Arsenal, which will go down as good business if it means the club can sign a replacement goalkeeper in Asmir Begovic for just £8m.
