Man United CLEAROUT: Nani and five other FLOPS Louis van Gaal will look to offload this summer, including Liverpool transfer target

Known as Le Sulk for his propensity to put absolutely no effort in if he doesn’t feel like it, the Frenchman is a strange choice to become a coach. He’s not exactly the greatest example to the youngster for one.

However, whatever happens it will likely be fun to watch, so here are five others we’d love to see give it a go…

5) Adel Taarabt

Expect the fitness sessions to be given a miss if the Morocco international is in charge! A spat with Harry Redknapp over the player’s weight contributed to him eventually leaving QPR. There is unlikely to be much defending from the 26-year-old’s team as well, or much movement off the ball at all for that matter.

4) Dimitar Berbatov

While a lot of goals would be conceded, the sheer nonchalance of a side managed by the former Manchester United man would be something to behold. Style over substance would be the name of the game, and they would certainly look cool while out on the pitch.

3) Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Swede already almost demands to be the main man at any club he joins, so imagine the cult of personality there would be if he was the boss! Expect a kit with the striker as its emblem, as well as the side to change their name to Zlatan FC.

2) Dani Osvaldo

Well known for incidents where he has punched and headbutted his teammates, the Italian would likely start some sort of a fight club if he was in charge. The signings of Lee Cattermole and Joey Barton would be imperatives, while Nigel Pearson may get a chance as assistant manager.

1) Nicklas Bendtner

It has been a couple of years since ‘Lord Bendtner’ claimed he would be playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid soon enough. With the move looking unlikely at best at the moment, maybe he should try and build a team up to their level? Obviously the Dane would be starting up front, and all other players would have to make sure they passed to him ahead of shooting.
