Stats have been released about the most watched Premier League clubs from the season just gone, with viewing figures in the USA giving some surprise results…
6) Manchester City
Considering they went into the season as reigning champions, it’s a surprise to see Manchester City so low here, even if the club underperformed throughout 2014/15.
5) Arsenal
A real surprise in fifth place, as Arsenal are historically one of the biggest teams in England and have a fanbase all around the world.
4) Swansea City
Bizarrely above Arsenal and City, Swansea take fourth spot here after raking in some excellent viewing figures across the pond.
3) Chelsea
Only in third, Premier League champions Chelsea’s immense form in the league did not see them take top spot in the viewing figures table.
2) Liverpool
Despite a disappointing campaign, Liverpool’s history and reputation makes them a big name all around the world and sees them take 2nd place here.
1) Manchester United
Surely the biggest brand in the Premier League, Manchester United are world famous and it is no surprise to see them take first place here, even if they’re not what they used to be since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
