Some names have already left the club, while other big-name stars look certain to be axed over the coming months.

In this feature, we run down the eight players set for the exit door at the Emirates Stadium, including the Gunners’ longest-serving player-who’s already been axed-and several international stars who look set for an imminent departure away from North London.

Abou Diaby
The injury-plagued midfielder has already been axed by Arsene Wenger and, having come to the end of his contract, will now be seeking new employment.

FC Dallas have been linked by the French international, although it remains to be seen whether any side would take a risk on the midfielder considering his previous fitness concerns.

Lukas Podolski
Lukas Podolski spent last season away on loan at Inter Milan, but the Italian side didn’t appear particularly keen to keep him on board. The likes of Sunderland, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion have all been linked with the player-who appears to have no future at the Emirates Stadium-although a transfer to Turkish giants Galatasaray looks imminent.

Joel Campbell
Joel Campbell looks destined to join the long list of Arsenal players who never realised their potential under Arsene Wenger. The Costa Rica hitman was hardly given the opportunity to demonstrate that the promise he showed at the World Cup could be realised at the Emirates.

Both Benfica and Real Sociedad have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old.

Jack Wilshere
Both Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with England international Jack Wilshere whose injury concerns have threatened to derail his progress at his beloved Gunners.

The former may consider the player should Arsene Wenger propose a swap deal for Raheem Sterling, while the latter are understood to be targeting Wilshere as they look to boost their homegrown player quota.

David Ospina
Having signed Petr Cech, it’s clear that Arsenal have one goalkeeper too many. While David Ospina impressed after replacing Wojciech Szczesny between the sticks, it looks likely that it is the Colombian who finds himself in harm’s way.

The stopper has been linked with a move to Turkey, with the stopper looking likely to move to Fenerbahce.
