Man United boss Louis van Gaal invested over £100m in new players last summer in his quest to secure that all important top four spot and having qualified for a Champions League return the Old Trafford side are ready to once again ring the changes.

OUT

Robin van Persie

The experienced Dutch forward looks set to leave for pastures new after an average campaign in 2014/15 with Turkish giants Galatasaray keen to bring in another Man United star having completed the capture of Nani earlier this week.

Rafael

Brazilian right-back is very much surplus to requirements and has been linked with a number of Serie A sides having seen his first team chances grow increasingly limited under Louis van Gaal.

Angel di Maria

The 27-year-old hasn’t come close to justifying his British record £59.7m fee and Man United are ready to sell the former Real Madrid man, but only for a fee in the same region as that which they paid last August.

Jonny Evans

A number of calamitous displays by the Northern Irish centre-back has left Louis van Gaal desperate to offload the defender this summer, Tottenham and Everton have both been linked with an apparent interest.

IN

Matteo Darmian (Torino)

By all accounts Man United are very close to snapping up the Italian international who should ably fill the club’s right-back ‘problem-area’.

Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

Man United have failed with bids for the Spanish international and are very keen to sign the 29 year old but would prefer to do so without losing keeper David De Gea to Real Madrid.

Nicolas Otamendi (Valencia)

The Argentine international is seen as a viable alternative to Ramos though his reported £36m valuation could prove something of an inflated obstacle.

Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Having netted 31 goals for Spurs last season it’s no surprise that van Gaal would target the 21 year old England man, who is seen by Man United as an ideal attacking weapon to spearhead the Old Trafford attack.
