Real Madrid would be willing to sell Manchester United target Gareth Bale for £100m this summer, according to sources in Spain.

The Wales international has been unsettled at the Bernabeu in recent times and could now be heading for the exit after growing speculation that United would make a huge offer for his services.

The 25-year-oldd has already broken the transfer record once in his career already, moving to Madrid from Tottenham for £85m back in 2013, and Fichajes.net now suggests he will move again, becoming the first-ever player to cost £100m.

Although Bale was thought to be part of Rafael Benitez’s first-team plans, that kind of fee may have turned his head as he considers rebuilding his struggling squad.
