Man Utd to follow up Schweinsteiger deal with FOUR more signings worth £90m: Arsenal target & new keeper included

Red Devils to keep on spending – four more to follow Schweinsteiger, Darmian and Depay!

Manchester United may have announced two superb signings yesterday in the form of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matteo Darmian, but Louis van Gaal is not finished there.

The Dutchman spent big last summer on a whole host of new faces, and could do the same again this year as he eyes four more established stars to come in before the end of the summer, possibly worth up to a massive total of £90m.

With one of Arsenal’s top targets in sight and a new goalkeeper coming in, here are the next lot of arrivals for fans to celebrate after the Schweinsteiger deal…

1) Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton)

In a £25m move, Man United are still expected to go after Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin despite the addition of Schweinsteiger in midfield, with the Frenchman a more defensive-minded player and a more long-term option at five years the German international’s junior.

2) Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

For around £40m, United could also still land another huge name this summer as they continue their pursuit of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. The Spanish international seems to want out of the Bernabeu, but won’t come cheap.

3) Nicolas Otamendi (Valencia)

Another possible defensive recruit would be the £25m purchase of Valencia star Nicolas Otamendi, who looked like one of the best defenders in La Liga last season, though he is also wanted by Chelsea and Manchester City this summer, or even as a replacement for Ramos at Real Madrid.

4) Keylor Navas (Real Madrid)

Finally, United could get one more player for free this summer as they demand Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas from Real Madrid as part of a swap deal for David de Gea, who remains a top target for the Spanish giants in that position.
