Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin: Four MORE big Man Utd signings to expect this summer, including Ramos & £60m star

Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin to be followed by four more huge buys!

Manchester United have had a busy weekend, with deals for Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matteo Darmian announced – and it looks like Louis van Gaal could keep on spending.

The Red Devils brought in around £150m’s worth of new talent last summer as they spent vast amounts on the likes of Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw, and Van Gaal already has four new names to boast this year in Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin.

Still, there remain parts of the squad that need more strengthening, with these four players now in the Dutchman’s sights as they could get a transfer boost from selling £88m’s worth of first-teamers

1) Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

A world class centre-back, Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United as part of a swap deal involving David de Gea, and he’d be absolutely ideal at the back.

2) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)

With Van Gaal eyeing a big name up front, Edinson Cavani appears to be the club’s main target for that position, with the Uruguayan possibly set to leave PSG in a mammoth £60m deal.

3) Nicolas Gaitan (Benfica)

Linked with a move to Liverpool earlier in the summer, United are now being talked up as the favourites to sign Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan, who could be an ideal replacement for Angel Di Maria if he leaves for Bayern or PSG.

4) Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid)

With David de Gea likely to leave for Real Madrid, there is growing speculation that United will turn to Atletico Madrid’s impressive young goalkeeper Jan Oblak to be their new number one, though they have supposedly failed with an opening bid of £19m.
