Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has claimed that he wants to challenge the Premier League’s financial dominance over European football, reports the BBC.

4) Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal
Already used to a short passing game with the Gunners and flattered by interest from Barca [Goal.com], the Welshman could be the perfect signing. With Xavi having left the Nou Camp, the 24-year-old could be his replacement.

1) Aymen Abdennour, AS Monaco
Not as eye-catching as the other possible moves, but the centre-back would improve their team the most. Defence has long been a weakness for the Blaugranas, and they are apparently already in talks with the 25-year-old to improve their fortunes in the area [SPORT].
