Tottenham target Manchester United winger Ashley Young after REFUSING to pay £25m for Premier League winger

Tottenham are ready to turn their attentions to Manchester United winger Ashley Young after being quoted £25million for Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie, Mirror Sport reports.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen on signing a new winger during the current transfer window and has already lost out on a deal for Ukrainian star Yevhen Konoplyanka, who joined La Liga outfit Sevilla earlier in the summer from last season’s Europa League finalists Dnipro.

Bolasie is understood to be Pochettino’s first choice transfer target but is not prepared to meet the Eagles’ hefty price-tag for the Congolese wide-man and is therefore set to take advantage of the current contract dispute at Old Trafford between Young and United.

The 30-year-old is yet to agree a new deal with the Red Devils, despite impressing for the club during the second half of last season and would have to take a pay cut in his £110,000-a-week wages if a move to White Hart Lane materialises before the end of the transfer window.
